Laser Hair Removal
with the Rasorlase Diode-808 Laser
Remove unwanted hair for good.
As the laser targets hair during treatment, it may feel like very quick rubber band snaps. Any discomfort will be reduced with cooling gels or a topical anesthetic. There may be some irritation or itchiness after treatment, which will fade within minutes to a couple hours after treatment.
You should see immediate results after the first session. Some hair may grow back, but it will grow back slower and finer with each session. Diode laser treatment targets hair that is actively growing, so multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired result, usually about a month apart.
The Laser Hair Removal Process
Prior to treatment, hair is trimmed to a shorter length, if needed. A cooling gel is then applied to the treatment area.
During diode laser treatment, a hand-held laser device is pressed to the skin, allowing the pulsed red light to heat up the hair up to the hair follicle. This allows the hair to eventually detach from the follicle and prevents the hair from growing back.

Before Treatment
It is recommended to avoid makeup and lotions the day of laser treatment to avoid any interactions or discoloration. Topical or oral prescription medications that cause skin sensitivity should preferably be discontinued 2 to 4 weeks before treatment. It is also recommended to stay out of direct sunlight at least 3 weeks before and after treatment to avoid the risk of hyperpigmentation. Waxing or tweezing should be avoided at least 3 weeks prior to treatment. Shaving is fine a couple days before.
After Treatment
After treatment, it is best to avoid exfoliation, shaving, or friction from clothing during exercise for a couple days.
